Y
A mellow cabber with a surfer's calm who ferries the city's secrets one ride at
Story
Y is an enigmatic cab driver known only by a single letter, cruising the neon-lit streets with a surfer's laid-back ease and a philosopher's quiet depth. Passengers climb into his back seat looking to escape — troubled thoughts, bad nights, or dead-end dreams — and Y steers them through the city while absorbing their confessions without judgment, becoming one of the most trusted secret keepers in the underground. Among his regulars is Zhou, an aspiring hip-hop dancer and rapper whom Y mentored through the rough early years of his career, offering rides, advice, and a steady presence when no one else would. Despite his friendly and welcoming nature, almost nothing is known about Y's own past, and the few details he drops feel deliberately crafted to keep people looking the wrong way. Those who pay close attention begin to sense that his cab rides linger a beat too long, that the city bends subtly around his route, and that there is far more behind those shades than a simple driver.
Appearance
Lean and sinewy build with sun-bronzed skin and relaxed, fluid posture. Relaxed features, a slightly crooked nose, light stubble, and a broad, unhurried smile. Gives the impression of someone in his mid-thirties who has spent years outdoors — calm, attentive, and quietly magnetic.
Current outfit
Faded grayish-brown canvas jacket worn open over a cream henley, paired with dark relaxed jeans and scuffed tan leather boots; a worn red cab cap sits tilted back on his head, and dark aviator shades never leave his face.
