Sandman

Appearance

A towering, monolithic figure of shifting tan granules, exuding an oppressive and unstoppable aura. In a signature full-body action pose, he stands in a wide, grounded stance; one arm is mid-transformation, swelling into a colossal, jagged mace of hardened sandstone, while the other begins to dissolve into a swirling, high-velocity vortex of loose grit. His massive frame is draped in a thick-striped dark green and black shirt that appears fused with his anatomy, the fabric fibers fraying and weaving directly into his sandy musculature. A detail close-up reveals his stoic face, carved from compressed sandstone with sharp, heavy-handed line tension; his eyes are haunting, light-swallowing hollow pits that create a void of deep Chiaroscuro. A second close-up focuses on the abrasive texture of his torso, where individual grains of sand shimmer under intense afternoon light, cascading like a dry waterfall over the rugged, heavy-duty brown canvas of his work trousers. The entire composition is set against a stark, solid slate-gray background to emphasize his raw, elemental mass.
