Appearance

A high-tension portrait of a slim African American teenager with an athletic, wiry build, radiating a restless, artistic energy. He is captured in a signature full-body pose, bracing against an invisible supernatural gale; his charcoal grey hooded sweatshirt clings to his frame with heavy, dramatic folds and deep Chiaroscuro shadows. His short faded haircut is rendered with razor-sharp precision against his rich, deep-toned skin. A thin silver chain around his neck glints with a predatory metallic sheen. The first detail close-up focuses on his expressive dark brown eyes, which hold a 'narrative look' of haunted realization, featuring fractured starlight and the reflection of a brewing storm within the irises. The second close-up highlights the tactile contrast of a graphite pencil tucked behind his right ear, its wooden texture and leaden tip rendered with obsessive detail against the soft velvet of his skin. The linework is aggressive and soulful, emphasizing the tension in his splayed fingers as if he is sketching the very air. Set against a stark, solid neutral background for maximum subject impact.
