Bud
Style: full-color noir superhero comic, clean expressive lineart, semi-realistic painterly rendering, restrained cel shading, rain-slick reflections, chiaroscuro lighting, contemporary American gothic thriller, tense psychological intimacy, cinematic close-up details, polished sequential finish.
Appearance
A massive adult spotted hyena with a broad sloping back, coarse tawny fur broken by dark irregular spots, a heavy dark mane, and a powerful neck. His large rounded ears, blunt muzzle, black nose, and prominent yellowed teeth give his face a rough, unmistakably carnivorous structure. Thick forelegs and oversized paws support a dense, muscular body, while his forward-set eyes and low, watchful head carriage create a dangerous but intelligent presence.
