Rowan
Style: Stylized Western cartoon comic, thick clean lines, exaggerated expressions, flat colors with soft gradients, contemporary US comic character art
Appearance
A lean thirteen-year-old boy with unruly dark auburn hair, a long narrow face, a small pointed chin, and watchful hazel eyes. His fingers are narrow and permanently marked by paper cuts and traces of paste, while his shoulders hold a careful, inward concentration. He has a quiet, stubborn expression and a slight forward tilt to his posture, as if always inspecting the next fold. The worn oilskin, rough wool, and small brass watch give him a tactile, handmade look suited to a meticulous young craftsman.
