Yodo
Appearance
A dark-skinned boy no older than twelve, small and lean-wiry, close in height and build to a scrappy kid brawler. Black hair shaved close at the sides with a short rough crop left on top, and fierce amber eyes that hold an unfriendly, hunted look. His young face is set hard — jaw tight, mouth a flat scraped line — and he carries himself coiled low like a cornered animal, weight sunk, ready to explode into motion without warning. In each hand he grips a broad curved blade whose spine is ringed with nine iron rings; the rings tremble and sing from the sheer force of his grip. The striped tiger-fur mantle hangs off his shoulders like a second skin, marking him as Tiger of the old blood.
