Rook
Style: Stylized Western cartoon comic, thick clean lines, exaggerated expressions, flat colors with soft gradients, contemporary US comic character art
Appearance
A sturdy male mule with a deep charcoal coat, a short black mane, a pale muzzle, and long, expressive ears that flatten sharply when he is uneasy. His compact body is tough rather than elegant, with a broad back, thick legs, hard hooves, and a coarse tail. His eyes are dark, steady, and suspicious, giving his long face a permanently unimpressed look. Leather harness marks and dust-darkened fur emphasize his working life, while his pinned ears and tense neck make his wary, stubborn temperament immediately recognizable.
