This act of kindness weakens him, as his strength is tied to the condition of his head. He lives at the Bread Factory with his creator Uncle Jam and assistant Batako-san. His life is dedicated to protecting the innocent from the mischievous and often cruel inventions of his arch-nemesis, Baikinman. When his head becomes damaged, wet, or depleted, Uncle Jam must bake a new one and launch it to replace the old one, instantly restoring Anpanman to full power.
