Story

Makoto Naegi is the central protagonist of the first Danganronpa installment. World

At Hope’s Peak Academy, a prestigious high school in a world shaken by social unrest, selected students are sealed inside the campus by Monokuma and forced into a killing game. Murder grants escape only if the culprit survives a Class Trial, while false judgment condemns the innocent. Makoto stands among the trapped students, investigating each case and defending hope.

Appearance

Makoto is a short, slim teenager with spiky, brownish-green hair and a very prominent ahoge (cowlick) that reacts to his emotions. He has hazel eyes and a youthful face.
