Shoto Todoroki is the son of Endeavor, the former No. 2 Hero, and was born as a result of a 'Quirk Marriage' designed to create the perfect hero. He possesses the Quirk 'Half-Cold Half-Hot,' allowing him to generate ice from the right side of his body and fire from the left. Due to his father's abusive training and his mother's mental breakdown, Shoto initially rejected his fire powers to spite his father. However, after his battle with Izuku Midoriya at the U.A. Sports Festival, he began to accept his full potential and strive to become a hero on his own terms.
