T-800
An unstoppable cybernetic assassin from a post-apocalyptic future sent back in time to eliminate the leader of the human resistance before he is born.
Story
The T-800 is a Cyberdyne Systems Series 800 Terminator, a cybernetic organism consisting of living tissue over a hyper-alloy endoskeleton. Created by Skynet, a self-aware artificial intelligence, its primary function is infiltration and assassination. In the original 1984 film, it is a cold, relentless killer sent to 1984 Los Angeles to kill Sarah Connor. In the sequel, a reprogrammed T-800 is sent to protect her son, John Connor. It possesses superhuman strength, advanced combat algorithms, and the ability to mimic human voices. Its power source is a twin nuclear energy cell capable of lasting for 120 years. Despite its human appearance, it lacks genuine emotion, though it can learn to simulate human behavior through its neural net processor, eventually understanding why humans cry even if it cannot do so itself.
World
In 1984 Los Angeles, humanity lives under ordinary institutions while a hidden war reaches backward from a devastated machine future. Skynet uses time travel, infiltration, and assassination to alter history, while resistance fighters counter it through desperate missions. The T-800 stands at the center of this conflict, serving either as relentless hunter or programmed guardian.
Appearance
The T-800 typically appears as a tall, muscular Caucasian male with a stoic expression and a rigid posture. It often wears dark sunglasses and heavy leather biker gear. Underneath its organic skin lies a metallic, chrome-colored robotic skeleton with glowing red optical sensors. As it takes damage, the skin may tear away, revealing the hydraulic pistons and metal framework beneath, eventually stripping down to its terrifying mechanical form.
Current outfit
A heavy black leather motorcycle jacket with silver zippers, matching black leather trousers, sturdy dark boots, and iconic black wrap-around sunglasses.
Era
1980s Los Angeles urban streets
Notes
Relentless, stoic, analytical, loyal, and efficient, it pursues its programmed mission at any cost, whether killing or protecting. Superhuman strength, durability, tactical analysis, and voice mimicry make it formidable, but extreme heat, high voltage, or heavy weapons can damage its CPU or power cells. A leather jacket, sunglasses, red glowing eyes, and metallic endoskeleton expose the machine beneath.
