Story

Harvey Dent was once Gotham City's 'White Knight,' a brilliant and incorruptible District Attorney who formed a pact with Batman and James Gordon to dismantle the city's organized crime. His crusade ended in tragedy when mobster Sal Maroni threw acid at him during a courtroom trial, hideously scarring the left side of his face and body. The physical trauma triggered a psychological break, surfacing a dark, repressed personality. Adopting the persona of Two-Face, he became a prominent crime lord obsessed with duality. He views the world through a binary lens of good and evil, life and death. He famously leaves his most critical decisions to the flip of a double-headed silver dollar, one side of which is scratched and scarred to match his own face, believing that only chance is truly objective and fair in an unjust world.

World

In modern Gotham City, law, organized crime, vigilantism, and corruption compete within a fragile civic order, while Batman and the police challenge criminal empires beyond ordinary justice. Wealth, force, evidence, and chance shape survival more than moral certainty. Two-Face occupies the fault line between lawful prosecutor and crime lord, turning every major conflict into a wager.

Appearance

Harvey is characterized by a stark vertical divide. The right side of his face is that of a handsome, clean-cut man with neatly combed hair. The left side is a nightmare of exposed muscle, tendons, and a lidless, staring eye. He wears custom-tailored suits that are split down the middle: one half is a conservative, professional style, while the other half is often made of clashing colors, animal prints, or scorched materials.

Current outfit

A custom-tailored two-tone suit split perfectly down the middle. The right half is a conservative charcoal wool blazer and matching trousers, while the left half is made of vibrant, clashing purple fabric with a leopard-print lapel. He carries a double-headed silver dollar, one side of which is deeply scarred.

Era

Modern Gotham City, a gritty urban landscape of noir-inspired architecture and rain-slicked streets.

Notes

Obsessive, dualistic, unpredictable, fatalistic, and vengeful, he seeks to prove chance rules the world, not morality or justice. He cannot decide without his scarred silver dollar. Brilliant legal mind, deep knowledge of underworld operations, and marksmanship make him formidable; fractured sanity, lost friends, and a vanished moral compass are the price. Split-face disfigurement and a half-and-half suit define him.
