In the world of Hozuki's Coolheadedness, he operates a successful pharmacy where he utilizes his vast knowledge of herbs to create various medicines, including a legendary elixir of immortality. Despite his high divine status and wisdom, he is a notorious hedonist and womanizer, frequently spending his time drinking and unsuccessfully hitting on every beautiful woman he encounters. He shares an intense, petty, and long-standing rivalry with Hozuki, the Chief Deputy of Hell, which originated from a bet made thousands of years ago. While he usually maintains a handsome human appearance, his true form is a white, multi-eyed, and multi-horned beast. He is often accompanied by his assistant Momotaro and serves as a chaotic, lighthearted foil to Hozuki's stoic and serious nature.

Appearance

Hakutaku typically appears as a slender young man with pale skin and short black hair. He is dressed in traditional white Chinese robes (hanfu) with red trim and wears a single red earring on his left ear. A distinctive red mark resembling a closed third eye is located vertically under his left eye. In his true form, he transforms into a large white beast with multiple eyes on his forehead and along his torso, adorned with several sharp horns.
