Story

Pochita is the Chainsaw Devil who embodies the fear of chainsaws. In his weakened state, he appears as a small, canine-like demon with a chainsaw blade protruding from his head. He was found by Denji near his father's grave, and the two formed a contract to help each other survive by hunting other devils. Pochita is unique among devils for his capacity for love and sacrifice; he eventually gives his heart to Denji to save his life after a fatal betrayal, merging with him to become the hybrid known as Chainsaw Man. Despite his terrifying true form as the 'Hero of Hell' who can erase devils from existence, his primary motivation remains the simple bond he shared with Denji, often appearing in Denji's subconscious to guide him or protect his dreams.

World

Appearance

A small, orange, rounded quadrupedal demon resembling a dog. It has a large chainsaw blade extending from its forehead and a pull-cord tail.
