Story
Sota Munakata is a university student studying to become a teacher while fulfilling his family's ancestral duty as a Closer. His mission is to travel across Japan, locating abandoned places where Doors have opened, allowing a giant supernatural force called the Worm to escape and cause devastating earthquakes. Sota uses a special key and a ritualistic chant to lock these doors. During his encounter with Suzume Iwato, he is cursed by the keystone kitten Daijin and transformed into Suzume's childhood three-legged wooden chair. Despite his physical limitation, he continues his mission alongside Suzume, eventually sacrificing his human form to become a keystone to save the world before being rescued by her in the Ever-After.
