Pazuzu
Appearance
A nearly eight-foot-tall avian demon dominates a 9:16 composition against a solid muted vermilion background. Its lean, angular body twists into a predatory full-body pose: reverse-jointed legs crouched wide, one taloned foot planted forward, thin forearms spread like hooked blades, and four wings flaring asymmetrically behind it. The enormous upper wings unfurl in a storm of deepest-black primary feathers, while the lower charcoal wings stretch like leathery shadows over exposed angular bones, each ending in a curved obsidian claw. Dense black, charcoal, and sickly ash-gray feathers cling to its narrow torso, jutting ribs, shoulders, hips, and throat in ragged layers. A jagged bone ridge travels from its distorted raptor skull down the spine. Its long hooked beak parts in a silent snarl, revealing serrated teeth and a narrow black tongue; fused bone horns sweep backward like a broken crown. Close-up detail one: incandescent yellow-orange eyes burn beneath a heavy brow, storm-gray irises fractured around vertical black pupils, carrying cold intelligence and restrained violence; one stray feather cuts across the gaze. Close-up detail two: a taloned wing joint and forearm reveal scarred charcoal membrane, chipped obsidian claws, coarse feather texture, and hairline bone cracks. Aggressive ink-like contours, taut linework, severe chiaroscuro, and hard rim lighting carve every rib, claw, and feather. A slight asymmetric head tilt breaks its monstrous symmetry, suggesting a calculating hunter rather than a mindless beast.
