Nova

Appearance

A tiny sentient star small enough to fit in a child's cupped palm — no larger than a teacup. Its body is a perfect five-pointed star with softly rounded tips, radiating a warm golden luminescence that pulses gently like a heartbeat. Two disproportionately large, round, sparkling eyes dominate its face — they shimmer with the liquid brightness of molten gold, framed by impossibly long, fine lashes made of pure light. When it cries, silver teardrops of condensed starlight roll down its glowing surface, leaving faint shimmering trails. Its voice seems to emanate not from a mouth but from its entire being, shimmering in the air around it. Its signature posture: hovering at eye level, tilting slightly to one side like a curious bird, its glow dimming or brightening with its emotions. A faint corona of miniature sparkles constantly dances around its edges.
