Comic people already think in casts. The quiet girl with the too-big coat. The swordsman who is tired of being pretty. Prompting that from scratch every Monday is how the coat keeps changing color.

The Character Library is a public shelf. You can read a name and a look before you commit. When you use one, Tab Story can attach that library identity to the comic character so later panels have something sturdier than a sentence.

Use it like a responsible thief

• Inspect the full look. If you cannot describe the hair, do not start a twenty-page arc.
• Lock the character on your project after you pull them in. The library was the audition.
• Write new relationships. A borrowed silhouette is not a borrowed plot.
• Private project casts never show here. Publication of a library look is a choice, not a leak.
• A public face is not a print license. Read Terms before you put anyone on a stall table.
