Guides
Make Studio, one job at a time
Start
Open Make Studio from a chapter you already wrote, or from a blank project.
Style
Lock language, art direction, layout, and the models before the first panel draws.
Chapter
Keep the book title, chapter text, and the next episode on the same project.
Characters
Scan a cast from the prose, or add people by hand, then lock a reference image.
Panels
Break the chapter into a board, draw it, then fix the pages that missed.
Panels
Turn a Chapter into a Storyboard
Storyboard in Make Studio is a list of panels with a scene, speakers, dialogue, and a prompt. You can read it before a single image is queued.
Panels
Generate the Panel Images
Panel images queue from the prompt plus the character references. One missing prompt or one missing face stops that panel, not the whole book.
Panels
Edit One Storyboard Panel
The panel editor is the script for one frame. Change the line or the shot, then update the prompt, or the next image will follow the old words.
Panels
Refine a Panel Without Redrawing the Page
Refine takes the current panel image as the reference and applies one instruction. The neighboring panels stay where they are.
Panels
Add, Insert, or Delete a Panel
The board does not have to come only from a breakdown. You can insert a frame, leave it blank, or remove one.
Panels
Upload Your Own Panel Image
The frame can hold a picture you drew or fixed outside Tab Story. Upload puts it on that panel and keeps it in history beside the AI takes.
Panels
Sketch a Page Layout and Generate It
Sketch is a layout pass: you draw the panel borders, write what each frame contains, and generate one page. Infinite Canvas is the other tool — it repaints a region of a picture you already have.
Publish
Preview, publish, share, export, or turn one panel into a short video.
Publish
Preview a Chapter and Publish It
Preview is the reader’s scroll. Publish marks the chapter complete, and it refuses to do that while any panel is still missing an image.
Publish
Share a Comic Once It Is Ready
Share is blocked until the book has a cover, a published chapter, and more than three panel images on a published chapter. Images still in review wait.
Publish
Export a Chapter as Images, PDF, or Video
The chapter menu can zip the images, export a PDF, or start a video. Video export asks you to publish the chapter first.
Publish
Make a 5-Second Video from One Panel
Panel video is one frame, five seconds. The current image is the first frame. You can add a note about camera, line, or mood, then pick which take the share page shows.
