What you are opening
Make Studio is the chapter-by-chapter desk. The project holds the prose, the style, the cast, and the panels together, so a later regenerate still knows who was in the rain.
Classic Wizard is the faster first pass: style, script, characters, then a batch of panels. Use Make when you expect to rewrite dialogue and rerun one page more than once. The AI comic creator guide compares the two doors.
Three ways in
| Start | What you bring | Where you land |
|---|---|---|
| Paste a story | A scene, or a short idea the studio can expand | A new project, then style and character analysis |
| Blank comic | Nothing yet | The studio, so you can add text, a character, or a panel |
| AI draft | A premise, or an opening to expand | Prose in the input, which you still edit before the project is created |
After the project exists
- Style comes before a reliable character scan. If you pasted text and skipped the style step, the studio will send you back to it.
- The onboarding choice is a starting tab, not a lock. Text, Characters, and Panels stay in the studio.
- One chapter is one scene. A whole novel dump fights the length cap and produces a board that cannot breathe.
Make Studio will not letter a print tankobon or ink like a weekday assistant. It will keep the chapter you pasted attached to the pages it draws.
