Story

Atreus is the son of Kratos and the late Giantess Laufey. Raised in the secluded woods of Midgard, he initially struggled with a mysterious illness caused by his repressed godhood. After the journey to scatter his mother's ashes, he discovers his true name is Loki. In the sequel, he matures into a capable warrior and linguist, driven by a desire to understand his role in the prophecy of Ragnarök. He possesses the ability to speak to animals and transform into beasts. His relationship with his father evolves from one of strict discipline to mutual respect and eventual independence. He is torn between his loyalty to his father and his destiny to lead the Giants. He eventually leaves his father to find the remaining Giants, marking his transition into a hero of his own right.
