Story
Hyoga is the Bronze Saint of the Cygnus constellation. Born to a Japanese father and a Russian mother, he spent his childhood in Eastern Siberia. After his mother, Natassia, died in a shipwreck and remained preserved in the icy depths, Hyoga dedicated his life to becoming a Saint to gain the power to visit her. Trained by Camus of Aquarius in the manga (or the Crystal Saint in the anime), he mastered the art of freezing atoms, known as the Diamond Dust. Initially appearing cold and detached, he is deeply emotional and driven by his loyalty to his friends and his duty to Athena. Throughout the series, he overcomes his attachment to the past, eventually surpassing his master by reaching Absolute Zero during the Battle of the Twelve Temples, proving his growth as a warrior of justice.
