Trafalgar D. Water Law is the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. Born in Flevance, known as the White City, he was the sole survivor of a systematic massacre caused by Amber Lead Syndrome. After being taken in by the Donquixote Pirates, he was saved by Donquixote Rosinante (Corazon), who sacrificed his life to secure the Ope Ope no Mi for Law, curing his terminal illness. Law is a brilliant strategist and a member of the Worst Generation. He carries the secret middle name 'Water' and the initial 'D.', making him a natural enemy of the World Government's status quo. He formed a crucial alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates to take down the Shichibukai Donquixote Doflamingo and the Emperor Kaido. Despite his cold exterior, he is deeply loyal to his crew and driven by a desire to uncover the true history of the world and the meaning behind the Will of D.
