Share a Comic Once It Is Ready

TL;DR. Set a cover, publish a chapter, and make sure that published chapter has more than three panel images. Then use share. If images are under review, wait and try again. People you share with can read. They do not get edit access to the project.

Give the book a coverShare refuses a comic with no cover. Generate one from the cover description on the style or story tab, or upload and crop a 3:4 image.

Publish at least one chapterA draft-only book cannot be shared. Publish follows the preview guide: every panel in that chapter needs an image first.

Clear the image countA published chapter must contain more than three panel images. Three is not enough. Add or finish another frame, or publish a longer chapter.

Share when the checks passThe share action runs the checks and tells you the first missing piece: cover, published chapter, or image count. If the comic’s images are under review, it asks you to wait.

The share dialog reports the first failure. Fix that one and try again. You do not have to guess which rule fired.

What the link allows

A share lets someone read the comic you chose to expose. It does not hand them the studio. The share and explore feature is the longer version of that rule: drafts stay off Explore until you put them there.

Unpublishing the only completed chapter removes the “has a published chapter” pass. The cover can stay. The share will fail until a chapter is published again.
