Draft, published, shared
These are three different states. A draft chapter is yours. A published chapter has cleared the “every panel has an image” check and can be used by share and by video export. A share is a further action: the comic still needs a cover, a published chapter, and enough images, and you choose to share it.
Projects stay private until that share. Publishing a chapter does not put the book on Explore by itself.
Read it like a reader first
- Preview stacks the images in order and can expand the source prose if you want the script beside the scroll.
- Empty images are visible in preview. They also block publish.
- The end of the scroll tells you when every loaded chapter has been read.
- If the pipeline banner says the chapter is done, you can add the next chapter or publish this one.
Publish is reversible. Delete is not. Unpublish when the chapter should leave the reader path. Delete only when the chapter itself should disappear.
