AI Comic Generator | Turn Text Into Comics

Same cast on the next panel

The covers above are finished comics people published on Tab Story, not single posters. The job is the next panel: lock the cast, then draw that panel from those same faces.

New accounts receive a signup credit grant. The amount is shown after you sign in. A finished chapter exports as a ZIP of the panel images and as a PDF. Video export is available only after the chapter is published.

This is not Clip Studio. Faces, hands, and night scenes still slip. Regenerate the panel that missed and keep the rest of the chapter.

What you actually do

Paste 1,000–2,000 characters of story — a scene, not a novel dump.
Pick a style pack and a layout (page comic or vertical scroll).
Design or import characters, then lock the faces you want to keep.
Generate the episode. Rerun one panel if a hand or a sign missed.

What it will not pretend to be

Comic maker and comic generator AI are the same job as this page. We do not split them into extra URLs, and we do not letter a print tankobon for you.

FAQ

Is Tab Story a free AI comic generator?

New accounts receive a signup credit grant. Most public tools also include a daily free quota. Credit packs are sold in USD on the pricing page; allowances can change independently of marketing copy.

Can I use it as a comic maker if I cannot draw?

Yes. You write or paste the scene. The generator handles panel layout and art. You still review faces, rewrite dialogue, and regenerate misses — you do not ink the page.

How is this different from Midjourney or Canva?

Those tools make images or layouts. Tab Story keeps a story, a locked cast, and a chapter of panels together so page twelve still knows who stood in the rain on page two.
