Comics are a sequence of almosts
Anyone who has finished a chapter knows the feeling: eleven pages are fine and page four has a melted hand. If the software rerolls the episode, you lose the one splash you loved. Tab Story attaches each generate to a panel slot. You retry the slot.
In Make, that slot also has history. An AI take, another AI take, an upload you painted over — they sit together so you can walk back without pretending the first miss never happened.
Models are a taste choice, not a brand slogan
Create lets you pick the panel model before you spend a stack of credits. They are not interchangeable filters. Some are fast and cheap enough to batch a chapter. Some are slower and looser. Some are more open with mature imagery. Some advertise fewer copyright snags. The live picker shows the credit cost per panel; that number is the contract, not a tweet.

Do not generate yet if
- The character is still “a cool girl” with no lock and no reference.
- The chapter never says where we are standing.
- You have not picked a style or a page-versus-scroll layout.
- You are asking the model to invent the plot because the paste was three sentences.
