Cut a 4:5 canvas into shapes, drop a photo into each piece, and export a collage. Export requires a Tab Story account: 6 exports per day, then 6 credits each.
How it works
- Pick the cut mode, click once to anchor a divider, move to rotate the preview, then click again to confirm. Or use the quick horizontal / vertical split buttons.
- By default one cut affects one area and cannot overlap existing dividers. Turn on Allow cross-area cutting when you want a single line to pass through several areas.
- Switch to fill mode, select an area, and upload a photo. Photos cover-fill the shape; drag to reposition and scroll to zoom (10%–500%).
- Choose a divider style — solid, dashed, dotted, or double — and it stays in the exported collage.
- The eraser removes a divider to merge two areas back together (photos on both sides stack) or clears a photo.
- Undo / redo up to 50 steps covers cuts, erases, fills, moves, zooms, deletes, and resets.
Example
Export
Sign in to export. Each signed-in Tab Story account gets 6 exports per day; extra exports cost 6 credits. The canvas is 800×1000 (4:5) and downloads as a 1600×2000 PNG.
Privacy
Cutting and filling run locally in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. Export only records usage for quota and credits.
FAQ
Can a divider cut several areas at once?
By default, each cut affects one area and cannot overlap existing dividers. Turn on 'Allow cross-area cutting' to split every area the line crosses.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The collage editor runs in your browser with Canvas 2D — your images never leave your device.
What size is the exported image?
The canvas is 800×1000 (4:5) and exports as a 1600×2000 PNG so the collage stays sharp anywhere.
How much does export cost?
Each signed-in Tab Story account gets 6 exports per day. Extra exports use 6 credits. Cutting and filling in the browser do not spend credits.
